Teriyaki shrimps are ready in no time at all. Serve them as appetizers or enjoy them as a main dish along with rice and your favorite grilled vegetables.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs. large prawn
- 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- Juice of 2 limes
- 2 cloves roasted garlic, chopped
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
Directions
Devein the shrimps, leaving the shell intact. Slice each shrimp down the center. Now combine the teriyaki sauce, lime juice, garlic and pineapple together in a small bowl. Marinade the shrimp in this mixture and chill for about an hour. Place the shrimps on the grill for about 5 minutes on each side.
Tips
Baste the shrimps with any left-over marinade from time to time. You can also deshell the shrimp, however, leaving the shell on will contribute to the flavor. See here for more shrimp recipes.
