What is better than a beef steak? Yes, Beef Teriyaki served with rice. It just makes a great dinner that is really quick and easy to rustle up. Etiher steaks or beef strips are marinated in teriyaki sauce before being stir-fried with green beans and then topped with some more teriyaki sauce. A dish that is really popular with teriyaki lovers.
Ingredients
- 1 boneless beef top sirloin steak
- ½ cup teriyaki marinade and sauce, divided
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
- 1 medium onion, halved and sliced
- 2 cups frozen green beans, rinsed and drained
- 3 teaspoons + 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Directions
Cut the beef lengthwise in half, then diagonally into 1/8-inch slices. Combine the beef and 3/4 cup of the teriyaki marinade in a medium bowl.
Heat 1 ½ teaspoons of oil in a skillet over a medium heat. Add in the onion and stir-fry until tender. Transfer the onions into a bowl.
In the same skillet, heat 1 ½ teaspoons of oil. Stir-fry the beans for 3 minutes or until tender but still crisp. Drain out any excess liquid. Add the beans to the onions in the bowl.
Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil in the skillet. Discard the marinade and add the half of the beef to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2 minutes and transfer to the bowl containing the beans and onions. Repeat with the remaining beef. Return the beef and vegetables to the skillet. Pour in the remaining 1/4 cup marinade. Cook and stir for another minute or until heated through.
Tips
